Qingying Ren is Chief Expert of China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd., Chief Engineer of China Architecture Design & Research Group Co., Ltd.

Over the course of his more than 40-year career, he has steadfastly pursued the philosophy of "meticulous structural design to achieve architectural beauty." As a lead engineer, he has overseen and completed over 50 engineering design projects and numerous research initiatives. His design projects have garnered more than 30 national and industry awards, including one gold medal, three silver medals, and three bronze medals in the National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Awards, as well as five Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Awards. He has served as the chief editor or contributing editor for multiple national and industry standards, such as the "General Code for Concrete Structures," "Code for Design of Building Foundations," and "Seismic Design of Industrial Buildings." He has published two professional technical books and over 30 academic papers, and holds more than 20 national invention and utility model patents. His accolades include one National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize and three Huaxia Science and Technology Progress First Prizes.

He has been honored with titles such as "Model Worker of Central Enterprises," "Expert Receiving Special Government Allowance from the State Council," "Outstanding Builder in the Labor Competition for Olympic Engineering Construction," and "Olympic Engineering Construction Pacemaker." In 2008, he was awarded the title of National Master of Engineering Survey and Design.
